Each year in the EU, nearly ten thousand primates are subjected to a life of misery, experiencing intense physical and mental suffering in a range of poor and needless tests and experiments. Whilst great apes, such as orang-utans, gorillas and chimpanzees have not been used in experiments for some years, many other primates, such as baboons, macaques, squirrel monkeys and marmosets (some of our closest relatives; beautiful, intelligent and sociable animals) continue to be incarcerated (often in isolation) and suffer greatly in the name of poor science.
Advocates for Animals’ Primate-Free Progress campaign aims to end the barbaric use of primates in laboratory experiments across Europe. As a campaigning organisation working in animal protection, we rely solely on public donations and legacies; all our funding comes from generous individuals like you. Please support our vision of a world where animals can live free from exploitation and abuse by making a donation to our vital campaign work.
Together we can end this senseless suffering. Thank you for considering supporting Advocates for Animals.
